Welcome to Cupertino TV Productions!
We are a nonprofit organization engaged in producing award-winning shows on public-access television in Silicon Valley and YouTube.
What’s New?
As we usher in the 2025 New Year, we find ourselves taking a look at our group’s work and impact. It’s wonderful to see a four-decades long trail of award-winning, diverse and impactful shows, excellence in mentoring and learning, and unbounded creativity. Cupertino TV Productions continues this remarkable journey and, with our partners' and community's support, we are set to achieve more significant milestones in 2025.
Happy New Year, 2025 Cupertino TV Productions and Friends! May it be a creative one!
Now, Should old ‘years’ be forgot and never brought to mind? Absolutely not! For 2024 was an eventful year for us:
We added 12 new shows to our repertoire including shows on Cupertino Senior Center activities, West Valley Community Services, Master Gardeners, Artificial Intelligence, search for extraterrestrials, Rotary Club, cats, rescue dogs, plant-based cooking, Yijin exercises, controlling diabetes through natural means;
Our show 'Why Water Fitness?' won first place in Alliance for Community Media's W.A.V.E. Awards 2024 in the Culture and Lifestyle category;
We revived our Encore TV show festival showcasing our popular Ikebana show. Ms. Fusako, the star of the show, graced the festival and dazzled the attendees with a live demonstration of Ikebana arrangements. It was covered in press in The Mercury News and the Cupertino Courier;
We had fun over food and conversations in our Spring and Winter Potlucks and our sendoff to two of our beloved members Val and Phil;
Many new members joined our group;
We had a great presence and experience in the Open House and Volunteers Appreciation Lunch hosted by CSC, we filmed City of Cupertino's Earth Day and the Volunteers Fair;
We learned and used new editing softwares -- DaVinci Resolve taught by Wes and Adobe Premiere Elements taught by Jerry.
We would not have done all of this without the support of CSC, City of Cupertino, KMVT, and our loving community. Thank you!
As a TV show producers' group our most precious contribution has been connecting creators with their community, especially helping our newest members harness the power of television to share their shows with our local and global community. If you want to see your story come alive in a show of your own, made with many helping CTVP hands, come check us out. We meet on the first and third Tuesday, every month, to form production teams, review shows for cablecasting, learn about new advances in TV production, and a bunch of other things.
Now for the pièce de résistance: We have three new shows debuting on our Cablecast Schedule for January, 2025! Isn't that a wonderful way to start a new year! They are all great, but we don't want to drop any spoilers. So don't take our word for it, check them out yourself on this page and on our Shows page! Looking for more? Enjoy the gorgeous shows on our YouTube channel. Until next time!
Heads up!

Why Water Fitness
Water is a crucial component for all living organisms, including us humans. It makes up over 60% of our body weight and plays a vital role in many bodily functions. Water is required for regulating body temperature, transporting nutrients and oxygen, and flushing out waste products. But being in water also provides a low-impact environment that reduces stress on joints and muscles. Plus, water resistance adds an extra challenge to exercises, improving strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. Water fitness classes offer unique benefits to your overall health and well-being and are good for your mind and soul too. Watch this video — a first place winner at W.A.V.E. 2024 — for its wisdom and visuals.
Producers: Melinda Reynard and Adek Hanukai
CTVP Life in Pictures
Our lives as producers revolve around the studio, meetings, and on location filming. With cameras that ride inside phones in our pockets and purses, photos of our lives abound. Check them out in this section. There are pictures from KMVT15’s field equipment class for Cupertino TV Productions, new members’ training on studio equipment, Volunteer Appreciation Lunch day at CSC, CSC’s Open house, post-production crew shoots and myriad others just because we came together to create something. Mostly because we are feeling good about ourselves or for members and partners who are volunteering — creating, crewing, and giving us a reason to celebrate creativity :)

A Look Back at Our 40th Anniversary Celebration
We celebrated our 40th anniversary last November and are still relishing the celebrations. We had a lovely time at an event that was filled with memories and meaningful moments celebrated with our alumni and show guests. We had limited seats so not everyone could attend. But we have the brochure from the celebration, the press coverage on CTVP, and the photographs in the following sections which really puts you there.
